Drug Utilization Research Group NGO (DURG) was founded in 1999 Since then DURG has been involved in implementation of scientific projects, developing evidence-based recommendations for decision-makers, organizing training seminars and roundtable sessions in the field of Health care, publishing scientific articles and books. The mission of the organization is to promote the maintenance and improvement of the health of all people through research, education and other activity that includes developing recommendations for legislation and policy in the field of Health care, as well as advocacy. It covers, in particular, promotion of research as a means to improve medicines use. Main types of activities: research, training (seminars, conferences and others), organization of round tables to discuss top issues, publishing. Interests: pharmaceutical policy, managing medicines supply, use of medicines, access to medicines, the role of pharmacists in Health care, health promotion, pharmaceutical information and others.
